We have been forced to pull the plug on the next James Bond betting after a surge of support came in for The Night Manager star Tom Hiddleston.
Hiddleston was the 6/4 favourite on Sunday morning but after a flurry of bets on him including a four figure online bet in the UK, the market has been suspended.
Tom Hardy was the nearest rival to Hiddleston in the betting at 5/2 with Idris Elba and Damian Lewis both priced at 5/1. All three had been the subject of previous gambles.
They had no choice but to suspend the betting after further numerous requests on Sunday morning as we now expect Hiddleston to be rubber-stamped as the next 007.
