A Co. Antrim punter signed off their weekend in sensational fashion by scooping over £22,000 thanks to two golfers who beat the odds to win tournaments in America.
Our customer picked Nasa Hataoka in the LPGA Marathon Classic and Lucas Glover in the John Deere Classic for a £10 each-way double.
Hataoka was a 40/1 shot, but was six shots clear before being declared the winner when Sunday’s final round was wiped out by torrential rain.
It was more of a nervous wait for 50/1 shot Lucas Glover, who needed five birdies in his last seven holes to win his first event in ten years by two shots in Illinois.
