The luck was in for not one, but two Dublin punters this weekend when a couple of Lotto flutters saw them pick up tidy four-figure sums.
The first anonymous winner struck a €4 bet on their BoyleSports account, picking three numbers to land in the EuroMillions Plus draw on Friday evening. When 4, 17 and 21 all rolled out, they smashed odds of 1,500/1 which instantly turned their €4 stake into €6,004.
A second punter in the capital needed only two numbers to land their windfall
That wager beat odds of 100/1 to return €5,555, meaning the Dublin duo went into the weekend with combined winnings totaling €11,559.
