England v Australia Preview From Jonathan Joseph
The Unknown Element That The Aussies Bring Worries Me
Growing up, Australia were always a great side to play against and to challenge yourself. They played an exciting brand and they had some fantastic players. I don't quite exactly know what's going on with the union over there but they're losing a lot of their players, which is such a shame.
You ask a rugby fan, they love Australia, love the way they play, love their arrogance. They've fallen away over the last couple of years but Joe Schmidt can sort them out.
They are building. They almost feel like the England team of a few years ago when all the new players came in.
For me though that brings an element of the unknown and I'm a little bit worried about this game and I shouldn't be. We don't know what to expect from them. If they turn up and play, we might be a little bit shocked as we're recovering from the New Zealand game. They're coming in fresh.
So, I am concerned about the game, but I'm hopeful that we will get the result. They've got some young players but they're a sporting nation.
Borthwick’s Boring England
I can tell you that he (Steve Borthwick) is one of the best forward coaches hands down that England have had.
I'm not a massive fan of the way he likes to play. Look at the way Leicester played under him; for me it was just boring.
I'd rather see a more attacking style.
England v Australia Prediction
England should win, and I really hope that they do win by 10 to 15 points, but there’s still that nagging doubt at the back of my mind.
