England World Cup Odds Drift
The odds on England winning the World Cup are going in the wrong direction for the first time since the tournament kicked off.Gareth Southgate’s side have now been eased to 8/1 from 7/1 to go all the way, with France now alone as second favourites at 11/2 thanks to some impressive displays powered by Kylian Mbappe.
Spain were very impressive in their opening game when they scored seven goals against Costa Rica but they were unable to get the better of Germany in their previous game which sees the Spanish now 13/2 in the outright market. Brazil meanwhile have strengthened their grip on favouritism to get their hands on the famous trophy at 9/4 from 3/1.

Group Qualification All But Assured
The Three Lions remain in a strong position in group B, but they must wait until Tuesday’s final group match against Wales to rubber-stamp their place in the knockout stages after Friday’s lacklustre 0-0 draw with the USA. A win for England will assure them top spot in the group and a draw or loss by less than four goals will assure qualification to the knockout stages of the tournament.Kane's World Cup Golden Boot Odds
Captain Harry Kane, who started the tournament as 7/1 favourite to be top goalscorer, has now been pushed out to 14/1 following his second straight blank, with Spurs teammate Richarlison now 5/1 second favourite from 20/1 after his brace against Serbia. France's star man Kylian Mbappe is the favourite for the Golden Boot at odds of 11/4.

England were staring to pick up support after the Iran opener, but the draw and even more so the performance against the USA has served as a bit of a reality check.

"Brazil and Spain are being very well backed, but we’re not seeing a great amount of wagers placed on the Three Lions so we’ve pushed them out to 8/1 from 7/1 to see if it rekindles a bit of support.”
