Head-to-Head
Leeds United vs Newcastle Head-to-Head
Newcastle have gone six league meetings unbeaten against Leeds United, and the most recent was the hardest to take. Leeds led 3-2 at St James' Park in January with 11 minutes left, only for Bruno Guimarães to level from the spot in the first minute of stoppage time and Harvey Barnes to win it in the 102nd.
Records exist to be broken, and this one comes with a caveat. Guimarães has since joined Arsenal, and Joelinton – who also scored that night – has yet to feature this season.

The longer view is far tighter than that run suggests. Across 102 meetings, Newcastle have won 41 and Leeds United 39, with 22 drawn. At Elland Road , the Whites hold the edge – 25 wins from 51 games, with 12 draws.
Form Guides
Form Guides
Leeds United Form Guide
Leeds have been hard to beat and harder to break down to this point in the Premier League season.
Anton Stach 's free kick settled the opener at the City Ground on 88 minutes. Dominic Calvert-Lewin levelled against Brentford on 79. Jayden Bogle put them in front inside 15 minutes at the Amex before Luka Vušković headed Brighton level.

Three league games, two goals conceded, and James Trafford has yet to pick the ball out of his net more than once in a match.
Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge was a different story, but it was also a different team. Daniel Farke made eight changes for the League Cup tie and watched his much-changed side lead 2-0 through Tarik Muharemović and Brenden Aaronson before Chelsea 's first-choice attack came off the bench and turned the match around for a 6-3 comeback win at Stamford Bridge .
Newcastle Form Guide
Newcastle have been just as stubborn and rather more chaotic at this early stage in the Premier League season.
Anthony Elanga scored inside five minutes against Liverpool on the opening weekend and Joe Willock made it 2-1 just after the hour, only for Dominik Szoboszlai to convert a penalty deep into nine minutes of stoppage time.
Matthias Jaissle 's first away day went better. Elanga and Yoane Wissa scored within 10 minutes of each other at Tottenham to win it 2-0.
Then came Bournemouth at St. James’ Park. The Magpies found themselves two goals down inside 35 minutes, but pulled off a confidence-building comeback to earn a point . Harvey Barnes pulled one back before the break and Jacob Ramsey levelled on 88 to earn a share of the spoils.

They also got their midweek business done a night earlier than Leeds, winning 1-0 at Millwall on Tuesday through a late Joe Willock goal.
Joelinton is the notable absentee for Newcastle . Jaissle said last week he is "out for a couple of weeks" with the muscle problem that has kept him out of every competitive game so far this season.
Betting Tips
Leeds United vs Newcastle Betting Tips
Dominic Calvert-Lewin Anytime Goalscorer – 7/5
Calvert-Lewin has scored in each of his last two outings – the 79th-minute leveller against Brentford and Leeds ' third at Stamford Bridge . Notably, he also beat Nick Pope from the spot in January's 4-3 affair.
Leeds – Win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 – 3/1
Boosted up from 11/4. Every Leeds United league game this season has been settled by a single goal, and they have conceded twice in three outings. A tight home win is exactly the shape of this side.
