2026/27 Premier League Title Prediction

Aston Villa vs Brentford

Aston Villa to draw with Brentford and BTTS @ 3/1

Aston Villa will look to pick up where they left off before the international break when they host high-flying Brentford . The Europa League champions had a nightmare start to the season as they rebuilt after losing a host of stars but have now won three of their last four matches, including back-to-back away victories at Coventry and Spurs .

Brentford will be a good test of that apparent revival. Keith Andrews’ men climbed to fourth following their 3-0 mauling of Chelsea last time out and have yet to lose in seven league and cup games this term. The Bees also beat Villa 1-0 home and away last season, Dango Ouattara netting both winners, as well as knocking them out of the Carabao Cup on penalties.

Ipswich vs Fulham

Ipswich and Fulham to draw & under 3.5 goals in total @ 15/4

Fulham’s bid to claim a first Premier League win under Alvaro Arbeloa resumes with a trip to Ipswich . The Cottagers are 19th with only two points in the bank, but they will point to a tricky fixture list that has included games against Chelsea , Liverpool and Manchester United for their early-season struggles.

Fulham now face promoted trio Ipswich , Hull and Coventry in their next three games, and those fixtures should give a better indication as to how the west Londoners are progressing under Arbeloa . Ipswich are 11th, four points better off than their opponents having had a similarly testing start, but lost four of five league and cup games heading into the international break.

Sunderland vs Brighton

Sunderland to beat Brighton 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 @ 7/2

Brighton’s red-hot form will be put to the test in the coming weeks as they begin a daunting-looking October schedule with a trip to Sunderland . The Seagulls have lost only once in eight games and went into the international break third in the Premier League after ending champions Arsenal's 100 per cent record with a 3-0 humbling.

However, Fabian Hurzeler’s side now face a huge challenge with seven games in 21 days, including two trips to Manchester City , one to Liverpool , a home derby with Crystal Palace and two Conference League fixtures.

Sunderland are first up in a fixture Brighton won 1-0 last season. The Black Cats are 14th with only four points, but their last two matches have pitted them against top two Arsenal and Manchester City .  If you are a fan of patterns in your betting selections, all three of Sunderland's wins have come at home and finished 1-0, courtesy of goals between the 66th and 75th minutes.

Hull vs Everton

Hull and Everton to draw @ 23/10

Everton take their unbeaten start to a promoted Hull side who will be glad to finally be back on home soil. David Moyes ’ Toffees are seventh in the Premier League and through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup after winning four of their opening seven matches. Most of Everton’s games have been closely-fought affairs, with their most recent two outings finishing 1-0 and coming hot on the heels of last-gasp draws against Bournemouth and Manchester United.

Hull have only played twice at their MKM Stadium home in seven games this term and fans will be hoping for a repeat of their opening-day 2-0 win over Manchester United . The Tigers’ other Premier League win came against fellow promoted side Coventry and they are ninth in the table, a point behind Everton . Hull have picked up 18 yellow cards so far in the league - four more than any other side - and that might be worth a side bet this weekend.
