2026/27 Premier League Title Prediction

Everton vs Ipswich

Everton to beat Ipswich 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 @ 9/4

Everton remain unbeaten after six games this season and picked up a third victory with Wednesday’s 1-0 home win over Wolves in the Carabao Cup . That was also a fourth clean sheet of the campaign for the Toffees defence and David Moyes will be looking for more of the same against an Ipswich side who are scoring an average of two goals a game.

The promoted Tractor Boys should also be quietly content with the way they have started under new boss Gary O’Neil , with three wins and three defeats from a tricky start. Predictable losses against powerhouses Manchester United , Liverpool and Arsenal have been offset by wins over Sunderland , Leicester and Crystal Palace , and Ipswich will be hoping to get at least a point from their maiden trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Newcastle vs Hull

Newcastle to beat Hull & under 3.5 goals in total @ 6/4

Newcastle will look to bounce back from a humbling first defeat of the season at Leeds on Monday when they host Premier League surprise packages Hull . The Magpies appeared to be making light of the summer departures of Eddie Howe and a host of star names after starting their campaign with three wins and two draws in league and cup.

However, their unbeaten run under new manager Matthias Jaissle came to an emphatic end at Elland Road as they were thrashed 4-1, with Bazoumana Toure’s 90th-minute goal scant consolation. Promoted Hull are unlikely to be pushovers either. They are fourth in the league after beating Manchester United and Coventry and claming draws against Aston Villa and Chelsea , while they have conceded just four goals in six games overall, two of which came at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham vs Aston Villa

Tottenham and Villa to draw & BTTS @ 10/3

Tottenham fans are still waiting for the club’s heavily-funded revolution under Roberto De Zerbi to spark into life but the visit of fellow Premier League strugglers Aston Villa offers cause for optimism. Spurs' 3-1 Carabao Cup defeat at Liverpool on Tuesday means they have now lost three of their six games this season, with only a big cup win over Championship side Charlton to appease supporters. They are also without a single Premier League goal.

But if there is one club whose plight is possibly even more desperate than Tottenham’s , it is Villa . Shorn of the majority of the stars that helped win the Europa League last season, Villa have lost four of their seven matches and are 19th in the league.

However, Unai Emery's men have recorded recent away wins at Club Brugge ( Champions League ) and Coventry ( Carabao Cup ) while they won 2-1 twice at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last season, so they could be good value for a point on Saturday.
