Gamble On Theresa May WINNING Vote Of No Confidence

Theresamay50
The latest betting suggests Theresa May will fight off any challenge to her leadership by winning a vote of no confidence even if the 48-letter threshold is breached this week.

A leadership election will be triggered in the Conservative Party if 48 or more of their MPs submit letters to Altrincham and Sale West MP Graham Brady, with a host of names already publicly admitting they have done so.

Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg, who himself has submitted one of the letters, urged fellow MPs on Tuesday to force a leadership ballot, urging now is the time to topple their leader.

However, we have now got Theresa May’s chances of surviving a no confidence vote at 2/5, having opened up the market at a slightly bigger 4/7. It’s odds-against at 15/8 that any challenger beats her in the potential ballot.

Sajid Javid is the marginal favourite at 5/1 to be the next leader of the Conservative Party with Boris Johnson hot on his heels at 6/1.
