A Kildare native secured the perfect midweek boost in the form of a €7,602 Lotto windfall after their four lucky numbers proved to be profitable.
The customer headed to their local Boylesports shop and invested the small amount of €2 on the four numbers 7, 18, 19 and 21 to be drawn during the Irish Lotto Plus 2 draw on Wednesday evening.
The punter avoided a nail-biting wait for the bonus ball when all four numbers were quickly revealed, smashing the odds and seeing their €2 transformed into an incredible €7,602.
Had they chosen to stick with the six ball draw they would have received odds of 7,500/1 which would in turn have resulted in a €15,002 return.
