44 Dublin clubs eventually were narrowed down to one winner when Laughil Blake bolted home to land the Boylesports Irish Greyhound Derby in September.
As part of a sweepstakes competition, Boylesports and Shelbourne Park invited Dublin GAA clubs to participate in the Irish Greyhound Derby GAA Sweepstakes with the winning club that was allocated the Derby winner receiving €5000 from Boylesports.
Liam Byrne, Naomh Barrog club chairman said “We would like to thank Boylesports for their generous donation of €5000 that will go a long way for Naomh Barrog GAA club.”
