Gallagher brothers tipped to be ‘Taylor Toppers’ & play over eight gigs at Wembley
Croker Tipped To Host Oasis
BoyleSports has made Croke Park the 8/15 odds-on favourite to be the venue of choice in Ireland for an Oasis comeback gig.
Speculation has been mounting over the weekend that a reunion announcement is imminent with both Gallagher brothers teasing 8am (tomorrow) Tuesday 27th August as the time when all will be revealed.
Wembley Opener
Next year will mark the 30th anniversary of the release of iconic album ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ and recent press reports have suggested Oasis are lining up 20 live shows across London and their hometown of Manchester.
While Croke Park is being tipped to play host to the band in Ireland, Wembley is the 8/11 favourite to be the venue of choice for the first of the Oasis reunion gigs, while Manchester’s Heaton Park is a close 5/4 second favourite.
Taylor Toppers?
In fact, it’s just 6/4 that Oasis play over eight concerts at Wembley, which would blow Taylor Swift’s eight-concert Eras Tour record out of the water, and it’s an almost unbackable 2/9 that Oasis will headline Glastonbury next year.
When it comes to what banger the band will choose to open with, Rock N Roll Star is the 2/1 favourite with BoyleSports to top the band’s 2025 setlist, with Be Here Now ( 4/1) and Roll With It (5/1) also in the running. It’s expected that the brothers will keep their most iconic tunes like Wonderwall and Whatever until later in the set with both belters chalked up at 25/1.
Sharon McHugh, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said:
"Excitement is reaching boiling point with an Oasis reunion now looking more likely than ever. Some Might Say the Gallagher brothers are just the shot of adrenaline that the music industry needs!”
