Oprah Winfrey’s odds to become the next United States President have been drastically slashed after Golden Globes host Seth Meyers’ opening joke and her own speech saw a surge of large bets pour in.
Oprah was initially priced as a 100/1 outsider, but as speculation continues to grow and the public start to get behind her we suspect the 16/1 won’t last very long either.
Oprah’s 16/1 odds see her join Bernie Sanders in the betting with only four other candidates ahead of her, Kamala Harris (12/1), Elizabeth Warren (10/1), Mike Pence (8/1) and 9/4 favourite, the current President of the United States, Donald Trump.
