Strictly Come Dancing Tips
Tasha Ghouri has been revealed as the 5/2 favourite at BoyleSports to lift the Glitterball for this year’s instalment of the hit BBC show, Strictly Come Dancing.
Fifteen celebs are set to hit the dancefloor on September 7th, and Ghouri has already received a confident vote from punters to star on the Strictly set. The former Love Islander will bid to follow in the footsteps of 2021 winner and Eastenders star Rose Ayling-Ellis, who became the first deaf contestant to lift the Glitterball.
The Queen Vic could be hosting another celebration party, however, when Strictly draws to an end this year, with Albert Square veteran Jamie Borthwick rated the joint-second favourite at 9/2 by the oddsmakers.
Olympics fever swept the nation this summer and BBC bosses have signed up three British Olympians for the show, with Rio gold medallist Sam Quek (9/2) the most fancied of the trio to top the podium, with Tom Dean (10/1), who won gold in Paris and ex-Team GB sprinter Montell Douglas (10/1) both in the running.
DIY supremo Nick Knowles is the rank outsider of the fifteen contestants, with punters failing to envisage a successful swap of the building site for ballroom, while ex-Arsenal star Paul Merson is 33/1 to translate his fancy footwork from the football pitch to the dancefloor.
Brian O’Keeffe, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said:
“Strictly fever is in full swing with the show hitting our screens next week and plenty of punters are already putting Tasha Ghouri forward as the winner. With dancing experience in abundance, she could blitz her rivals in the ballroom.”
