Spotlight: Made it 3-3 when winning the Group 2 Dante at York (good) in May on reappearance and bounced back from soft-ground Derby flop to win the Group 2 York Stakes (1m2f, good to firm); established himself as one of the leading horses of Classic age when overhauling Almaqam in the last strides in the Juddmonte International; would not want the ground to deteriorate; if it stays good, has a fighting chance of confirming form with Constitution River.

Spotlight: Ended last season with a fine third behind Calandagan and Ombudsman in the Champion Stakes; made Group 1 breakthrough in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh (10.5f, good) on his reappearance; fourth behind Ombudsman when fourth in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot (1m2f) when the ground was livelier than ideal for him; consolidated his reputation when only just denied by Item at York.

Spotlight: Royal Whip win at the Curragh was a formality against vastly inferior opposition; high-class form in defeat last season and this term ties in with several top-class Ballydoyle colts, notably when fourth behind a trio in the Prix du Jockey Club and when splitting Constitution River and Hawk Mountain in the Eclipse; strong chance of a first-four slot.

Spotlight: Won the Group 1 Futurity at Doncaster (1m, heavy) last October and reappeared with Group 3 win at Chantilly (1m1f, good to soft) in May; close second to Constitution River in the Prix du Jockey Club at Chantilly next time, then beaten just over 3l by the same stablemate when third in the Eclipse at Sandown; dropped away tamely in the Juddmonte.

Spotlight: Won the Beresford Stakes and the Futurity at Doncaster (Wimbledon Hawkeye in third) in 2024; failed to win last year, high-class form when third in the Irish 2,000 Guineas and fourth in this event 12 months ago; on his third start this season, back at the top of his game when landing a 1m2f Group 1 at Munich; made almost all, Wimbledon Hawkeye close in third; big task here.

Spotlight: Last season's Derby and Irish Derby winner; reappeared with a win in the Group 2 Huxley Stakes at Chester in May; has failed to make a major impact since then, though there was plenty of merit in his rallying fourth in the King George; vulnerable at 1m2f.
