Spotlight: Much improved off lowly mark to win over 2m3f at Navan last month and followed up off 7lb higher at Gowran when made much more use of, fending off challengers over 2m4f; up another 6lb and upped in trip so more needed on what is likely to be softer ground.

Spotlight: About to challenge when carried out at second-last here over 2m4f in May (soft) before just denied in similar contest in July (good); last month's Clonmel comeback run should have brought him on so could well get in the mix if staying this longer trip.

Spotlight: Ballinrobe second last year at this trip but hasn't got near that form this year, although there was merit in recent Listowel fourth over this trip; more needed but don't rule out.

Spotlight: Hurdles win in 2024 came at Listowel (2m, soft) off 91; returned last September for staying-on third in the same event but seen only three times since, latest Wexford effort in July was encouraging but more needed; soft ground would suit.

Spotlight: Won 2m6f Tramore handicap chase last year and more recently landed 3m1f Kilbeggan handicap hurdle in June (off 86); decent run over fences at Sligo last month so remains in good order.

Spotlight: Sole win came in 2m Thurles handicap in 2025; didn't count in three runs over the summer but showed more back on easier ground at Tramore earlier this month; longer trip here could be an issue.

Spotlight: Beaten a long way in maidens and hasn't counted on opening two handicap efforts, latest when well backed at Killarney in August; may have more to offer judged on recent market support and upped in trip here.

Spotlight: Best form has been here in testing conditions, winning over this trip last Christmas and good second over 2m7f in March; last month's Roscommon comeback was over an inadequate trip, much more expected of here but may not get the amount of rain he wants.

Spotlight: All three wins have come at Ballinrobe at around this trip; not much to recommend this year until much improved when touched off in 3m Killarney handicap chase early this month, her belated chasing debut; clearly in good heart and one to consider back hurdling off 5lb lower than last winning mark.

Spotlight: Both career wins have come here in testing conditions, 2m3f handicap hurdle and 2m2f handicap chase; regular here earlier in the year but needs to improve a fair bit on those efforts and would like it softer.

Spotlight: Remote second in a 2m Clonmel handicap in February his standout effort; safely held when upped in trip and headgear combination tried at Killarney early this month so has a lot to find.

Spotlight: Hurdles win came over 2m4f at Punchestown in 2024 (heavy); lightly raced in recent years, best effort coming on latest when staying-on third in 2m5f Roscommon handicap chase in June (yielding to soft); encouraging jockey booking.

Spotlight: Maiden after 15 hurdle runs, recent Downpatrick effort a bit more encouraging but still best watched.

Spotlight: Runner-up in a Galway fillies' bumper last year but has very much failed to build on that, well held in all three handicap hurdles; tried in blinkers and upped in trip.

Spotlight: Lightly raced 5yo didn't show a whole lot in maiden hurdles (soft/heavy) and didn't count on handicap debut at Killarney on quicker ground; may need more time.

Spotlight: Flat winner has yet to trouble the judge in seven attempts hurdling over various trips; down 5lb from opening mark but still seems best watched.

Spotlight: 5yo didn't show much in maidens and ordinary effort on handicap debut at Clonmel in April (2m, soft); still early days but best watched up in trip.

Spotlight: Modest maiden never sighted at Fairyhouse earlier this month; cheekpieces will need to bring about massive improvement.

Spotlight: First reserve; triple-figure odds and beaten accordingly in three maidens over shorter trips; can only be watched unless market speaks on handicap debut.

Spotlight: Second reserve; standout run over hurdles when (attracted attention of stewards) strong-finishing clear second in 2m Thurles maiden in March (soft to heavy); ran no sort of race on recent Tramore comeback and perhaps best watched for now.
