Spotlight: Added to his two AW wins early this year when scoring over C&D (good to firm) last month; 6lb higher in hotter race today but this lightly raced 4yo is progressive; unraced on slow turf but dam's family excelled on it.

Spotlight: Returned from a year off with fine fourth in the Buckingham Palace at Royal Ascot (7f, good to firm); not quite at the same level in the Golden Mile at Glorious Goodwood (good to firm) since and could do with settling better, but he was effective over 1m in France (including on testing ground) and is capable of playing a leading role if at the top of his game.

Spotlight: Looked very much one to follow after winning his final three runs last term (1m, good to firm/good to soft); that hasn't been the case but he was beaten just a nose at Hamilton (1m, good) two starts ago and perhaps the first-time blinkers will prompt a bigger performance; unproven on soft/heavy.

Spotlight: 7yo who is winless since November 2023 but has dropped down the weights and was 4l third of 13 to The Lost King over C&D (good to firm) last month; each-way claims if acting on the ground; his last win came on heavy going but subsequent slow-ground form has been mixed.

Spotlight: Uncharacteristically below par at Ascot recently but was under a new rider in the Shergar Cup; he's run really well in defeat under Danny Tudhope in some hot handicaps this year and was second in this last season (good to firm); versatile ground-wise; could bounce back with a big performance.

Spotlight: Close third at Newmarket (good) in June when upped to 1m on his second start for this yard, and he made good headway before his run petered out in the John Smith's Cup here (10.2f, good to firm) last month; denied a clear run when mid-division at Glorious Goodwood (1m1f, good to firm) last time; the return to 1m could be ideal; ran well on soft early in career; chance.

Spotlight: His three French wins came on slow ground; unplaced this year on his three British starts but best effort came on good to soft when 4l seventh of 18 at Epsom in June when squeezed for room more than once; edging down the weights and slow ground would be a major boost to his claims.

Spotlight: Returned to form when going very close at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) last month and again ran well when third of 13 at Haydock (1m, good) 12 days ago; it's possible he's better over 7f but he might not be far away; has won on good to soft, unraced on softer.

Spotlight: Made it four wins from his last ten starts when scoring at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) recently; on a lofty mark under a 6lb penalty and it remains to be seen if he's just as good over 1m, but there can be optimism in that regard and he's clearly progressive; has run well on soft/good to soft.

Spotlight: Two wins in France last year over 7f on very soft/good to soft; mixed form for new yard this year but has twice run well at Chester, most recently second there 18 days ago (7f, good); 1m might be within range and he has possibilities if backing up that latest performance.
