Spotlight: Lightly raced 4yo made shock winning handicap debut last month at Wexford (2m4f, good) when coming off the pace over extended run-in (first two clear); form has taken a few knocks since and 9lb rise seems a bit harsh but quite likely has more improvement in him and significant jockey booking here.

Spotlight: Lightly raced 5yo has shown promise in a couple of maiden hurdles, at Wexford and early this month at Kilbeggan; could have more to offer now entering handicaps.

Spotlight: Three-time winner at around 2m4f, including here in 2023; stiffer 2m5f at Navan last time probably too stiff a test, previous Wexford second puts her in the mix off 5lb lower than her last winning mark.

Spotlight: Hasn't won since taking this last year off 4lb lower (good-to-yielding), mixing hurdling and chasing; not an obvious contender on recent efforts but clearly goes well here and trainer has a fine record here, so don't rule out a return to form.

Spotlight: Promising debut in a bumper at last year's Punchestown festival for Philip Fenton; ran okay on hurdles debut for Nicky Henderson (soft) but both subsequent runs were poor (lost shoe second occasion); bought for 16,000GBP in May and makes handicap debut on first run for Eric McNamara; worth a market check.

Spotlight: Point-to-point winner is 0-8 hurdling although ran well in Punchestown ladies handicap over this trip in June off 3lb higher; didn't count in novice company latest but contender back in this grade.

Spotlight: Second reserve; long-standing maiden but numerous placings, including good second in 2m3f Punchestown lady riders' contest in June (Lakewood Rose third) off this mark; subsequent Wexford effort below that level however.

Spotlight: Added a second hurdles win at Limerick (2m7f, heavy) in March but safely held both starts afterwards off 6lb higher; back from a break and doesn't appear likely to have his ground.
