Spotlight: Unraced on softer than good; absent 612 days after his novice races (including 9.4f win) in 2024 for Roger Varian; running-on second on reappearance at Newmarket (1m) and gradually asserted when favourite for six-runner race at Sandown (1m2f, again good to firm) two weeks later; up 3lb but should have more to offer at this trip.

Spotlight: With Irish stable since last summer and best Flat effort for them came on latest start when winning a 14-runner handicap at Dundalk (10.5f, AW); 2026 turf form is not far behind it but he needs a bit extra to win this.

Spotlight: Unraced on softer than good; up in trip when tidy 2l winner at Windsor (1m2f, good to firm) one month ago, which was his second turf win this summer and his best performance; up 5lb but not fully exposed at this trip.

Spotlight: Highly reliable in the last two seasons and he's never been better than in recent outings, mostly at 1m4f but also over 1m2f at Glorious Goodwood on penultimate start; should be bang there.

Spotlight: Last won in May 2024; ran mostly with credit in the meantime, including when fourth of 17 at Glorious Goodwood on penultimate start (his only race under Toby Moore); 1m4f on probably soft ground was seemingly much too much for him there on latest and he could return to form with place claims.

Spotlight: Cheekpieces last three starts and gelded before scoring at Lingfield (1m2f, AW) last December, which was his second front-running win last term and much improved form; not seen again until five weeks ago when he was favourite in a warm race at Southwell (1m3f, AW) and bang there 2f out but finished 9th of 12; it's possible he needed that run but this is just his second race on turf, having tailed off on soft on debut.

Spotlight: Close up in a Group 3 last season (1m, good to firm) and ran well under top weight when never-nearer third of 17 on handicap debut at Goodwood (7f, good) this May after hitting traffic; no show at Royal Ascot (1m; 28-1), absent since and not nailed on to be suited by this trip, but this 3yo could also easily have untapped potential.

Spotlight: Third in this race last year; mostly in fine form this summer, which demands plenty of respect even though the very best of that form came in two performances on good to firm at 1m4f.

Spotlight: Started this 3yo season with front-running wins in a novice at this track (7f, good to firm) and a valuable conditions event at Gowran Park (9.5f, yielding); tailed off at 50-1 in the Irish Derby but it's finishing last again in an 18-runner handicap at Glorious Goodwood (1m, good to firm; 12-1) which is much more of a worry.

Spotlight: Dead-heated for first in 1m Group 3 on dirt at Jebel Ali in February; ran poorly in Group 2 at Meydan in March (subsequently gelded) and again when back for 1m handicap at York (turf debut; just 8-1) in July; unproven beyond 1m (tailed off in US Grade 1 over 1m1f) and this looks a lofty mark.

Spotlight: Held up; picked up one 1m2f Sandown handicap in summer 2024 and 2025; hasn't quite had the same impact this season, including twice at that track and when tried in cheekpieces on latest start, but he is now 6lb below his peak mark and a case can be made.
